Welcome to my web site. I was born at Biggs AFB El Paso Texas in 1962, a month before the Cuban Missile Crisis. I was a child of the Cold War raised on a steady diet of television. I was fascinated by cartoons, the Space Race and fast cars.

Since late 2000, I have worked as a digital illustrator for a little studio in California called StoryboardsOnline.com. Through them I have done storyboard and comp art for virtually every advertising agency in the country as well as Great Britain. I also studied Adobe After effects at UCLA and can now add animator to my list of strengths. I hope to be adding animation to this web site soon.

In addition to my years at StoryboardsOnline.com I was also a contractor for Mattel Toys in El Segundo California designing packaging for the Hot Wheels line of toys as well as other toy lines. I also served as a freelance photo director for many of the product and packaging photo shoots at the Mattel Photo Studios, supervising photographers and child models. Also during this same time I was a freelance artist for the Cimirron Group in Hollywood where I worked on several major motion picture and television accounts.

Prior to my freelance career, I designed and illustrated trading cards and packaging for SkyBox trading cards. Before that I started my professional career in 1987 as a news artist for The Dallas Morning News. Four years later I moved to Los Angeles to work for the LA Daily News where I had the chance to cover some of the biggest stories of the early 1990's via news graphics.

I attended the University of Texas at Arlington where I received a bachelor's degree in art studying art history, graphic design and illustration. It was in college where I was introduced to the Apple Macintosh computer. A little beige box that would change my life for the next twenty years.
